In Dec of 1998 KIA received 3 Christmas cards in the mail, they where identical and all stamped across the middle of the card with complements, not signed no real care.
So with the help of well know cartoonist Bernie Thomas the following year we created Kootah Clause the reggae Santa.
Every card since then has become an institution at KIA. All cards contain high-lites of the year complete with a "wheres Wally feel" having a satirical look back at the year and remembering those whom made great achievements and those that have past.
Themes as election years (helicopeter rides), drug scandals in sport, major movies, melb cup winning horses, to the rolling stones at hanging rock we even get a shark attack in there not to mention Johnny Depp with Pistol an Bo
All cards contain a reference to all previous cards, Kootah Bitter esky, Melb Storm and Carlton get a fair run and the Big Kohuna signs the card somewhere. It is a light hearted look back over the year trying not to take ourselves to serious
